The Annual BCI Award 2014 - Submit your work now! 

g.tec would like to invite you to submit a 2 page description of your BCI project to the 2014 BCI Award.

Submission deadline is July 1, 2014

The prize will be awarded by the Institute of Knowledge Discovery, Graz University of Technology, Austria at the 6th International Brain-Computer Interface Conference 2014, Sept 16-19, in Graz, Austria.

This year's jury: Gernot R. Müller-Putz (chair of the 2014 jury), Deniz Erdogmus, Peter Brunner, Tomasz M. Rutkowski, Mikhail A. Lebedev, Philip N. Sabes (award winner 2013)

g.tec is happy to announce that all products were updated to software release 2014!

g.tec software is now compatible with MATLAB 2013a, Windows 7 Professional English, LabVIEW 2012 and Linux Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

New BCI Lab Plan - An overview of all g.tec products 

The new BCI lab plan gives you an overview of a recommended setup for a fully equipped BCI laboratory. It shows in detail, how our devices can be combined and work together. Additionally you can see the possible software options for controlling the devices.

Cybathlon - Championship for Robot-Assisted Parathletes 

The Cybathlon is a championship for racing pilots with disabilities (i.e. parathletes) who are using advanced assistive devices including robotic technologies.
The competitions are comprised by different disciplines that apply the most modern powered knee prostheses, wearable arm prostheses, powered exoskeletons, powered wheelchairs, electrically stimulated muscles and novel brain-computer interfaces.

BNCI Horizon 2020 - The Future of Brain/Neural Computer Interaction 

The goal of the project is to discuss the future of BCIs with a focus on industrial applications and end users, and to lay out where the field is heading, what is feasible (from technological, ethical, and commercial perspectives), and how BCIs will be used in the (near) future.

Activating Memory - String Quartet and BCMI Quartet 

Activating Memory is a new composition by Eduardo R. Miranda for four musicians and four performers wearing Brain-Computer Music Interfaces (BCMI), using unprecedented technology developed at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Computer Music Research (ICCMR) at Plymouth University with BCI expert Joel Eaton and in collaboration with g.tec.
In Activating Memory, the BCMI performers generate the parts of the score for the string quartet to play, in real time. A group of BCI users collaborate towards a common goal, which is to compose music together...
